QCP: Community News - Breonna Taylor’s Justice - State & Local cover up - Feds “investigation”

QCP: Community News - Breonna Taylor’s Justice - State &  Local cover up - Feds “investigation”

By Candace L. Smith

I ran across the news report that gave an update on the Feds investigation into her suspicious death. The state and local governments displayed ignorance in understanding how she was suspiciously shot dead by police acting on a warrant. When the news first dropped it was during the height of George Floyd’s death and there was a lot of outrage over another black body dying by the hands of white PD officers.

Taylor’s case got a lot of attention as it should have and many people questioned the validity of the warrant bc people were able to see Taylor’s life documented through social media and verified by her family that she was a law abiding citizen. There was no reason for her to be involved in a warrant. When it resulted in her death people never forgot. Especially her mother and close family. They continued to advocate for justice for her life. Eventually a federal investigation was opened up and after months there’s an update which resulted in four of the officers involved being charged. What I want to discuss in this video is the importance of advocating for the people in your family and community. If Breonna Taylor’s mother would have accepted the state and local assessment there would be no justice but she continued to rally for her daughter even though there was not a lot of continued public support.

QCP: Community News (Video)
Check out this video discussing the son that turned his father into the Feds for participating in the January 6th Capitol riots. There's a newsclip included of the sisters and mother's response.

People were no longer saying her name and I rarely see her picture come across my social media even though there was months of her smiling pictures throughout my news feeds on several social media platforms. But because of the persistence of her mother and lawyer and other advocating with her the feds got involved and a proper investigation took place. Another thing I discuss in this video is the relationships between the state local and federal governments. I talk about why the police was able to falsify information for a warrant and almost get away with it up to state level. The relationship that the state and local government agencies have to keep with each other for federal monies and positions put them into positions where they will cover up certain poor behavior by their fellow officers and the people that work internally within these systems. When the federal government gets involved the relationship changes because they are not as connected to state and local agencies. The length of time of this investigation was not to uncover the truth. They knew the truth very early on.

QCP: Church News: The Bishop, The Blogger & The Community

The time of the investigation was spent figuring out how to communicate to the community how people sworn to serve and protect the community used their positions of power to lie and it resulted in an innocent woman’s death. They have to prepare for the community’s response and they wanted to wait for the outrage to slow down. I’m glad that her mother never slowed down and she was determined to get her daughter justice. It’s going to be interesting to see what sentence they will receive for these crimes. What do you think about the federal investigation results? How much time do you think the officers should receive? Who else should be held accountable? The D.A? Who signed off on the warrants? Should they be held accountable as well? Leave a comment and let me know what you think. Please like and subscribe so that you’ll be notified when I post a new video.
Peace.

Why You Might Be Paying More Than Your Neighbor for the Same Product

Surveillance Pricing: The Hidden Cost of Your Personal Data Have you ever noticed that prices seem to fluctuate depending on how and where you shop? Maybe you’ve used Instacart or another grocery delivery app and found that the price of your favorite milk online is higher than what you’d pay in-store. At first, these small discrepancies might seem like an unavoidable part of online shopping. But what if I told you that businesses might be charging you more based on who you are? Surveillance pricing is a practice where companies use personal data—such as your age, gender, income level, or even your location—to adjust the prices you see. Essentially, what you pay for everyday items could depend on what retailers assume you can afford. A recent Federal Trade Commission (FTC) study revealed how this type of pricing discrimination is becoming more common, with companies using advanced algorithms to analyze consumer behavior and set prices accordingly. For example, someone shopping in a low...

In the Last Days: The Church vs. The Black Israelites

In the Last Days: The Church vs. The Black Israelites Across social media, a recent viral moment has sparked intense discussion within the faith community. A prayer event led by Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchel was met with protests by a group identifying as the Black Israelites — reigniting long-standing debates about faith, race, and identity in the Black community. The confrontation, caught on video, shows the deep divide growing between traditional Christianity and movements that challenge its authority and cultural roots. The Black Israelites, also known as the Hebrew Israelites, are members of a religious movement that teaches that African Americans are the direct descendants of the ancient Israelites — the chosen people of the Bible. This belief system holds that through the transatlantic slave trade, African Americans were stripped of their true identity, history, and divine purpose. While not all Black Israelite groups are identical in their teachings, most share common beliefs: ...
